Alrad are the UK distributor for TOBIAS ASSOCIATES, INC.

Alrad ceased production of their RY Parry range of Film Densitometers in 2001, after more than 25 years of UK manufacturing in Newbury.

However, we still continue to support the popular Parry models – DT1400, DT1405, DT1505 & DR1300 – by way of Service, Repair & Calibration – subject to parts availability.


The TOBIAS model range is more comprehensive , in that as well as Bench Densitometers, they also offer a range of compact Hand-Held Densitometers, plus Sensitometers, Colourbars, Plate Scanners and CIP digital Ink Presetting Instruments. For more details on TOBIAS products click here
