CMOS CAMERAS
A new areascan CMOS camera family has been designed under the name
of ATMOS™ and is dedicated to Industrial machine-vision applications.
This new family is a very fast CMOS areascan camera able to operate
in 8,10 or 12 bits, with an excellent signal to noise ratio. Specific CommCam
software, also developed by Atmel, renders Camera Link interface configuration
easy.
ATMOS™ 2M30 and 2M60 Monochrome

These two cameras are composed of CMOS sensors with almost 2.5 Million pixels, featuring high sensitivity
even at maximum speed. The region of interest
(R.O.I.) allows the end-user to implement infinite
resolutions and to increase frame rate : a fast
52 fps at full resolution is possible from the 2M60 model
(half-speed for the 2M30). Furthermore, the CMOS camera with its Camera
Link interface is suitable for those wanting to upgrade from analog to digital
modes. The performance, versatility and adaptability of the compact mechanical
body (44mm size) gives OEM and integrators an optimum solution to space-saving
in systems. The camera features are particularly suited for inspection,

CCD LINESCAN CAMERAS
Linescan cameras are used where there is a continuous web or sheet passing
under the camera. In this situation, a linescan camera is used where the image
is built up from a series of single pixel lines to create the final picture. The benefit
of this is that the generated image has no 'end'.AVIIVA™ M2, CCD Monochrome Linescan Camera
Designed for applications, such as web inspection, document scanning, surface
inspection, metrology.... This AVIIVA™ monochrome linescan camera family
incorporates a 512 to 4096 pixels sensor, (in 10 or 14µm), offering an excellent
signal to noise ratio (8, 10 or 12 bits) in a 56 mm compact and versatile mechanical
design. This camera can run at different pixel rates (10 to 60Mhz) controlled
by a user friendly interface. This AVIIVA™ monochrome linescan camera family

AVIIVA™ SM2, CCD Smarter Monochrome
Linescan Camera
This smarter camera offers the best in linescan cameras
with an increasingly improved accuracy, versatility and
easy implementation and can be interfaced with all
major CameraLink and LVDS frame grabbers. The same
compact mechanical design incorporates all sensors from
512 to 4096 pixels (10 or 14 micron pixel size) and can operate
in up to 12 bits with flat-field correction and contrast expansion functions.

AVIIVA™ SC2, CCD Smarter Color Linescan Camera
This new member of the AVIIVA™ range of cameras features a 4K pixel color
sensor with a 10 micron pixel size and an RGB color pattern (1365 x RGB pattern).
This smarter camera supports both CameraLink, LVDS interface and is operable
within a dynamic range of 8, 10 or 12 bits with dedicated electronics.With additional flat-field correction capabilities, contrast expansion functions,
white balance and color space correction, this camera is the perfect alternative
for industrial applications requiring low-cost color capture. Furthermore, one
will avoid the usual problems observed with tri-linear sensors on optical alignment

AVIIVA™ M4, CCD Monochrome Lines

Well-suited for the most demanding industrial
applications : OCR, bar-code reading, metrology
and web inspection…The AVIIVA M4 addresses these
applications by taking advantage of features already
present in the M2 such as extreme mechanical precision,
improved spectral response and superior anti-blooming
behaviour. Three versions are available, with resolutions
up to 8192 pixels, output format up to 10-bits and
data rate up to 160 MHz. This high-speed, high-resolution
camera is interfaced with Camera Link™, offers offset selection and integrates flat

AVIIVA™UM2 GIgE Linescan Camera
The UM2 is one of the latest generation of linescan cameras
with various resolutions available from 512 t0 4096 pixels
offering an excellent signal to noise ratio (8, 10 or 12 bits).
The camera has a pixel rate of up to 62MHz and a choice
of 10 or 14 micron square pixel versions are offered.

The UM8 is a high resolution linescan camera with Camera Link output.
The camera contains a CCD linear sensor with 12288 pixels.
The output mode can either be 8,10 or 12 bits in 4 or 8 taps.
A high data rate of up to 320MHz is possible.
The CameraLink industry standard output makes this camera
