Volpi Light Sources

A fiber optic illumination system always consists of two basic components: a cold light source and a fiber optic light guide. There are three basic types of cold light sources, which offer different advantages depending on the application. Halogen, metal halide, and LED light sources. The general advantages of fiber optic light systems are associated with applications requiring a very homogenous light with higher intensity and minimal heat radiation on the object. Typical applications include microscopy as well as industrial image processing (Machine Vision) and medical field.

		LED light sources IntraLED 2020 is the innovative family of LED light sources. Low power consumption, very long LED service lifetimes and extremely high light outputs are the main features of our LED light sources.
		Halogen cold light sources Volpi offers a variety of conventional halogen cold light sources for microscopy applications.
		Metal halide cold light sources With approximately 5.500°K metal halide lamps produce a higher color temperature than halogen light sources. Metal halide lamps are often used for medical applications
		Accessories We are your reliable supplier for accessories and replacement parts to Volpi light sources. You have the choice from a variety of filters, replacement bulbs or lamp sockets.
